This is my Art Blog for Education 406. This class is all about Fine Arts (music, dance, visual art and drama). Throughout this course I hope to learn a lot about fine arts so I can bring valuable tools and ideas into the classroom! Therefore, I hope to hear from and post to all my fellow classmates! ENJOY

Art Show!

The Art show was a huge success! I think this was a great idea. It was also a chance for us student teachers to get involved with the family and public. For me three out of five students showed up and I think they were really proud of themselves and their art work (I know I was)! In all, it seemed like not much effort was needed to create such a successful event. It helped that there were 30 helping hands. I would be interested in doing an art show in my class one day, now that I have some experience and ideas. But for now, I would like to thank everyone for the great night and awesome pictures and CAKE! Great job!

I was also surprized at how well things pulled together at the end, though we have to remember we didn't have to worry about getting the location, food etc. Those detail we will have to consider in the future.

I like how you mentioned working with parents. I think it is very important for teachers to keep good relationship with parents, and putting together fun events such as the art show can bring teachers, parents and students together in a positive envirnoment!

I also commented on the fact that we worked well as a class. I feel that we are so lucky to have people in the class who work well together and who are always willing to help.
